These Terms of Service govern your use of Slot, an online booking system for salons and appointment-based businesses.

1. Service description

Slot allows businesses to provide online booking pages where customers can select a service, choose an available date and time, and submit a booking request. Slot may also connect to Google Calendar to check availability and create calendar events.

2. Business responsibility

Businesses using Slot are responsible for keeping their services, prices, working hours, contact details, and calendar availability accurate and up to date.

3. Customer bookings

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information when making a booking. A booking may be subject to confirmation, cancellation, or rescheduling by the business.

4. Google Calendar integration

If a business connects Google Calendar, Slot may use the connected calendar to check availability and create appointment events. The business can revoke Google access at any time from its Google Account.

5. Email notifications

Slot may send booking confirmation emails and related appointment notifications. Delivery of emails is not guaranteed, as it may depend on third-party email providers and user inbox settings.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Slot available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend parts of the service for maintenance or improvements.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Slot to:

• Submit false, misleading, or abusive booking information
• Attempt to access systems or data without permission
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service
• Use the service for unlawful activities

8. Limitation of liability

Slot provides booking and scheduling tools, but the business remains responsible for its appointments, services, customer communication, and calendar management. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slot is not liable for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, lost revenue, or indirect damages.

9. Privacy

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
